Can server based Games hacked

In simple server games are games you see in your device but rest of all is controlled by the server in other words servers are like hard disk which store data ,your game data is stored on the server .In below image you can see how these servers look like

So if you won't to change any settings you should get into this server physical or by hack . Your game file on your device is just like a video player which will help to watch streaming movie or a podcast online .Which you just cant change anything just while watching. Which it means you can't edit the video or audio when its steaming.

Still the answer to this question is between yes and no

A client-server game is a quite complex system. It means that it definitely has vulnerabilities. But if the protections on all levels are made professionally and well tested, it will take pretty much amount of time and efforts to find those vulnerabilities and/or make use of them. It will also require a highly skilled programmer to be involved (meaning, it's  absolutely inaccessible to a common player).

Also professional game developers are usually getting prepared to the situations that their system got hacked even despite of all their protections. Which means, that the most critical systems can be additionally protected. For example they can be automatically supervised and thus hacking attempts will be detected and dealt accordingly.

So the short answer is: yes, they can be hacked, but it happens relatively rare in commercial quality games (for example our Elemental Heroes has not been hacked yet, but we had noticed numerous attempts so far

There is also a sort of actions usually classified as exploitation which usually means - use of exploits (game bugs) like cloning items on trades, inadequately fast training, endless rewards after single time completed quests, etc. Each of them can break in-game economy or combat balance or even both and developers will have to waste their time digging into logs,  restoring databases from backups, saying bad words etc.

SOLUTION

I know we all do not have ability to hack even if you get an hack 24 h they will fix it
Because these guys earn a lot money on these games so
Basic solution if you want  to find just get into a private server just google it, you might get . You play the same game in private server which you will have all those money gems and powers with same GUI .but this will not effect your original game but you can enjoy same game
