Gyroscope is needed sensor in order to play 360 or 180 videos but if your smartphone does not have one than few ways for this easy way to watch videos is var's vr player this has a pro version too and v.r player

Install it enjoy
In 2nd app v.r player you can watch youtube or the steaming videos
Go to settings in v.r player and tap advance then in orientation provider select accelerometer& compass

If you have root then you enable virtual sensor which will work as a gyroscope and support all apps and games
