install Ubuntu on Android

ROOT REQUIRED
IF NOT ROOTED USE KINGO ROOT
(pc version)
IF THAT DOESN'T WORK GOOGLE YOUR MODEL NUMBER AND HOW TO ROOT

STEP 1:

We need three applications  found in playstore as the same apps used in video

- Complete Linux Installer

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zpwebsites.linuxonandroid

- Terminal Emulator

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jackpal.androidterm

- androidVNC

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=android.androidVNC

When downloaded, open Complete Linux installer, click Install Guides and then follow the steps from there.

By now you should have an archive with the distro files. For this guide we are going to be using Ubuntu (steps vary from the OS you chose).

Open your file explorer and create a new folder in the root of your device storage (user storage) called "ubuntu" (in this case it's Ubuntu).

Now, extract the archive to the Ubuntu folder and then remove the version numbers from the file, you should be left with "ubuntu.img" and "ubuntu.img.md5".

STEP 2: RUN

Now that the installation is complete, let's run Linux!

Open Complete Linux Installer and then click Launch. Choose your OS and then click boot.

A terminal emulator will pop up, follow the instructions from there!

When done, open androidVNC and type the following information:

Username: ubuntu

Password: ubuntu

Port: 5900

(this information may vary from your operating system, the OS you chose).

STEP 3: WE'RE DONE!
